Summary

As an estate planning attorney, Jonathan Onufrak is committed to guiding individuals and families through the process of planning for their future needs. His practice is focused on helping clients identify the important issues to be addressed in their estate plan and demystifying the more complex aspects of wealth transfer planning. Jonathan’s goal in every engagement is to develop a relationship with his clients in order to understand their goals and priorities and help them find the best plan to address their needs and establish a plan that reflects their wishes.

Jonathan assists in the firm’s practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift tax, and estate administration. He counsels the firm’s clients in sophisticated estate planning and gifting techniques, tax reduction strategies, and asset protection planning. Jonathan also assists in counseling the firm’s corporate clients in the tax effects of business decisions and succession planning. As well as assisting in the firm's probate practice.

Upon graduating from law school, Jonathan relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where he worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte, LLP in their international tax line and providing compliance, provision and audit work for clients. Following his time at Deloitte, Jonathan joined Boston Law firm practicing in the estate planning and administration and tax planning groups.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in addition to an advanced degree (LL.M Master of Laws, Tax in 2022. He is a graduate of The University South Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2016.

Jonathan was born in Malvern, Pennsylvania and later moved to Sarasota, Florida before heading to the University of Colorado for his undergraduate studies. Jonathan presently resides in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys running and golfing, but mostly walking his two mini dachshunds.
