Abraham brings a commitment to serving his clients’ best interests in AMM’s Business Law and Litigation practice groups. Using a collaborative approach to learn each client’s goals and needs, Abraham is able to guide them to the most practical and effective strategies and solutions.
Abraham represents businesses and business owners regarding a variety of transactional matters, including: business formation, drafting governance documents, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, shareholder/member/partnership agreements, ownership disputes, commercial agreements, drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements, employment contracts, asset purchase agreements, buy-sells, leases and other documents; performing substantial due diligence, and working with state and local governments to obtain necessary business licenses.
In his litigation practice, Abraham is focused on supporting business owners facing legal challenges in civil litigation matters including: business disputes, shareholder/partnership conflicts, contract disputes, buy-sell agreement conflicts, and real estate litigation. He understands that legal matters can involve sensitive and complex issues, and provides peace of mind and clarity to his clients as they work together to bring their matter to the best available resolution.
Abraham attended Albany Law School of Union University, where he received his J.D. Cum Laude. While at Albany Law School, Abraham was the Executive Director of the Albany Law School Moot Court Program, a student-run arm of the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs. Overseeing a staff of 20 law students, Abraham ushered the growth of the Program’s seven semester long moot court and mock trial competitions.
Before AMM, Abraham grew a strong foundation of legal practice in various legal internships. Preliminarily, Abraham served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Anne M. Nardacci, U.S. District Court for Northern District of New York. Abraham also gained practical experience as a legal intern at a preeminent government affairs firm in Albany, N.Y. While there, he assisted in drafting detailed plans that lobbyists presented to government agencies and members of the legislature to advance client projects and business developments. In his third year of law school, Abraham interned with a long standing Albany-based personal injury firm.
In his free time, Abraham is interested in Woodworking, Photography and Videography, Camping, Hiking, and spending time at the barn riding with his favorite horse, Bubba.
