Susan Maslow, member of the Responsible Investor Model Clauses Task Force of the ABA Business Law Section, Corporate Sustainability Law Committee has co-authored an article published February 10th in Business Law Today: Draft Model Clauses for Responsible Investing: Call for Consultation. Maslow, a Co-Founder and Partner of the law firm of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn LLP, is proud of the role she has played in shepherding the creation of the Responsible Investor Clauses (RIMCs), which were three plus years in the making and the product of the hard work of Co-Chairs, Danielle Reyes and Professor Sarah Dadush, of the ABA Business Law Section’s Corporate Sustainability Law Committee Task Force. The RIMCs are explained and set out for broad investment community consultation in the Business Law Today article . The RIMCs are a set of editable and modular contract clauses to operationalize human rights and environmental policies in investment documentation used by private equity and venture capital firms, portfolio companies, public finance institutions, and portfolio managers who seek to distinguish themselves as responsible investors.
In addition to her business law practice, Ms. Maslow served as Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Law Committee of the ABA Business Law Section for several years and now serves as Co-Chair of that same Committee which has been renamed the Corporate Sustainability Law Committee.
